Here are my favorite types of rice:
Avorio rice – An Italian type, common in risotto, best to mild European dishes.
Basmati rice – Grown in India and Pakistan and good to Indian food.
Jasmine rice – Also called fragrant rice, best in spicy Thai food.
Brown rice (unpolished rice) – They are richer in vitamins and minerals than white rice, but take longer to cook
Wild rice – Wild rice is a black brown seed from a grass that is grown wild in the US. It’s expensive but you can mix it with white rice.
